Aurora as far south as Alabama this weekend

I chanced across this exciting news and don’t want anyone to miss out.

This link explains that the sun is having a massive geomagnetic storm. And because of this there are at least 5 coronal mass ejections due to hit the Earth’s atmosphere this weekend. There are likely to be widespread North Lights all weekend across much of the north and much further south than is usual.

The article also explained that if you kept your solar eclipse glasses, you can wear those and see if you can see the storm on the sun. How cool is that??

Even my dogs are full of anticipation.
